Mother seeks funding for private investigation into her daughter’s death

Thursday, April 16, 2015 — A Susanville mother who alleges the Susanville Police Department bungled the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of her daughter Angel Siler nearly four years ago is asking for donations to fund a trip to Susanville by the Archangels of Justice, a pair of private investigators, who, according to their website, have more than “80 years of investigative expertise” and now offer their help to resolve troublesome cases.

Michelle Cavalin, Siler’s mother, recently launched the fundraising drive found at gofundme.com/pdr00g. She is seeking $3,000 (down from an original request of $9,000). The Archangels of Justice said they do not charge for their investigations, but they do need funding to finance the cost of their investigative trips.
