One of the fastest growing dog sports in the Western part of the country is competitive cow dogs.

The Lassen High cheerleading squad attended an NCA cheerleading camp held at UC-Davis July 13-16.

The city of Susanville will host an American Quarter Horse Association-approved show on July 27-29 at the Lassen County Fairgrounds in Susanville.
