The racing season at Susanville's High Desert Speedway starts Saturday, April 7 with a changing of the guard.

Time to register for the annual Worl Championship Cribbage Tournament.

Lassen High School's Jeris Evans was named to the All-Northern Section third team last week by a panel of Northern California sportswriters. The senior averaged 12.0 points, 3.5 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 2.4 steals while shooting 48 percent from the field.

The Lassen Aquatics swim team traveled to Reno Saturday-Sunday, March 10-11 to compete in the Spring Invitational Meet hosted by the Reno Aquatic Club.
