ISRAELI FOLK DANCE CLASS

J and J Performing Arts is now hosting a Worship Dance Class. This is Christian worship dance with an Israeli folk dance flavor, and will include traditional Israeli folk dance steps set to a variety of styles of worship music. The classes are for adults and children ages 8 and up when accompanied by an adult. There will be a free trial class from 10 to 11 a.m. Oct. 24. NEW REAL ESTATE OFFICE IN WESTWOOD

Real estate broker Mel Benny has opened her own office in Westwood next door to the Walker Mansion Inn on Third Street. As a real estate consultant, offering professional assistance in buying or selling, Mel has been in the business since the early 1990s. She previously managed the Century 21 Cottage Realty office in Susanville. She is a member of both Lassen and Plumas Association of Realtors.

MONDAY NIGHT TACO TIME

The Elks Lodge in Susanville is now hosting Monday Night Football and Tacos. They serve tacos beginning at 6 p.m. every Monday night during the football season. Have dinner, then enjoy free popcorn while you watch the game. This year they are giving away a 55-inch big screen TV and a 20-ton wood splitter.
