BE A HERO FOR KIDS WITH CANCER
Diamond Mountain Casino and Hotel is hosting the first annual St. Baldrick’s Event, to raise money for lifesaving childhood cancer research. There are many ways to show your support: shave your head in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, donate or volunteer! On Saturday, May 18 at 3 p.m. the event will kick off in the Diamond Willow Room with Irish food and drinks. The Times’ own Sam Williams will be there getting his head shaved. Do your part to support this worthy cause in memory of the many local children who lost their battle with cancer. See their ad in this week’s paper for more details.
