May 22, 2013 — The Federal Correctional Institute in Herlong paid tribute to fallen officers at its 8th annual memorial service Wednesday, May 22.
Law enforcement and firefighters from throughout the county came to pay tribute.
Associate Warden R. Zuniga reminded attendees that we don’t know what tomorrow may bring, so count each day as a gift.
In his closing address Warden Mike Babcock spoke of the differences between officers and civilians.
