The City of Susanville City Council will be holding a public hearing to consider amendments to Chapter 17 of the City of Susanville Municipal Code to implement the requirements of California Assembly Bill 1616 which set forth regulations for “Cottage Food Operations”.  The City code will be amended to add a definition of a cottage food operation and will classify that operation as a home occupation which is allowed in all residential zones subject to obtaining a Home Occupation Permit from the City.  The hearing will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers in City Hall located at 66 North Lassen Street, Susanville, California.

The City of Susanville Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing to consider approval, conditional approval, or disapproval of a Use Permit to allow an exception to the City parking requirements to allow the reconstruction of a single family home destroyed by fire which had non-conforming parking, allowing the reconstruction of one covered parking space instead of two. The property is located at 412 Richmond Road in an R-2 (Residential Duplex) Zoning District.  
The hearing will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 6:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers in City Hall located at 66 North Lassen Street, Susanville, California.

Notice is hereby given by the Lassen Local Agency Formation Commission that a public hearing will be held on Monday April 8th, 2013 at 3:00 pm at the Board of Supervisor’s Chambers, at 707 Nevada Street. Susanville, CA regarding the following:
1. The Susanville Library District has made application to LAFCO for the detachment of unincorporated territory thereby changing its present boundaries to be coterminous with the city limits of the City of Susanville.
2.  The Commission will consider oral and written testimony by any interested person or affected agency as well as the report of the Executive Officer.  At the hearing, the Commission may approve or disapprove a proposal with or without amendment, wholly, partially, or conditionally, may include or exclude territory may continue its consideration with or without amendment, as a whole, in part, or upon such conditions as the Commission may determine.  As authorized in Government Code Section 56663 (d), the Commission intends to waive protest and election proceedings if no written opposition from registered voters or landowners within the affected territory is received prior to the conclusion of the commission meeting.
Persons may attend and be heard at the time and place of the hearing.  If you challenge the action of the Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lassen Local Agency Formation Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
