Three injured in stabbing incident

Monday, Feb. 11 — The Susanville Police Department (SPD) is investigating an incident that occurred in the late evening of Friday, Feb. 8 that sent three people to Banner Lassen Medical Center for treatment of stab wounds

According to a press release from the SPD, officers responded to the area of S. Gilman and River streets on a report of an unknown type of altercation at approximately 10 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found three stab victims at a residence in the 100 block of S. Gilman Street. The victims were a 48-year-old woman, and two teenage boys ages 16 and 17.

During the investigation, officers learned several people arrived at the residence and an altercation ensued between the subjects and several occupants of the residence. The suspects then fled the area in an unknown type of vehicle.

The SPD is encouraging anyone with information on this case to call its 24-hour dispatch line at 257-2171. You can remain anonymous.

i have a hard time believing that the people who would stab another person in a criminal act, would read the paper. and i seriously doubt they have the susanville police dept as a favorite on thier facebook pages.....

Around here it would surprise me if they contacted the paper or pd to get the story correct lol. A man fights for his family only and he only uses fists anything else is admitting defeat at the get go,an old timer told me that long ago i think more youngens should be raised with that thought..a MAN
