THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF LASSEN,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: This ordinance shall take effect Thirty (30) days after its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage it shall be published with the names of the members voting for and against the same, once in a local newspaper of the County of Lassen, State of California.
SECTION TWO: The following described area, comprising a portion of the area depicted on Zoning Index Map Number 94 is hereby rezoned from A-2-B-5-A (Agricultural Residential, 5 Acre Building Site, Agricultural Combining District), the proposed zoning is A-2-B-3-A (Agricultural Residential, 3 Acre Building Site, Agricultural Combining District), and the uses permitted therein shall be subject to the provisions and restrictions as set forth in Chapter 18.18 and 18.84 of Lassen County Code.

Harvey Valley Allotment
Grazing Management Project
On January 28, 2013, Ann D. Carlson, District Ranger of the Eagle Lake Ranger District, Lassen National Forest signed a Decision Notice and Finding Of No Significant Impact authorizing livestock grazing on the Harvey Valley Allotment as described in the new Allotment Management Plan to be written as a result of this decision. The decision also authorizes 1) the implementation of meadow improvement projects that include conifer removal and prescribed fire; 2) watershed improvement projects to remove and recontour old roads, relocate livestock watering holes, remove a decommissioned bridge and culverts; 3) conifer removal from aspen stands; and 4) construction of a new corral facility and modification or removal of existing fences. The Harvey Valley Allotment Grazing Management Project is located in the Harvey Valley Allotment located in the north central area of the Eagle Lake Ranger District, bounded by Harvey Mountain on the north, Logan Mountain to the east, Crater Mountain on the south and Cone Mountain to the west (centered at T33N, R8E, Sec 26). Copies of the Decision Notice and Finding Of No Significant Impact are available at the Eagle Lake Ranger District. Opportunity to Appeal:
This decision is subject to appeal pursuant to 36 CFR Part 215.
