PD investigating attempted burglary; business owner offering reward for alleged vandalism
Oct. 17, 2012 — The Susanville Police Department (SPD) is investigating an attempted burglary at Tactical Reload that occurred in the early morning of Friday, Oct. 12.
According to a press release from the SPD, officers responded to the location at 4095 Johnstonville Rd. on a reported attempted burglary into the business.

Evidence collected showed the suspects allegedly attempted to force their way into the business, but evidence showed no entry had been made.
The police department is encouraging anyone with information about the case to call the 24-hour dispatch at 257-7121. You can remain anonymous.
According to Tactical Reload owner Jason Smith, he received an alert from the alarm company at 4:13 a.m. Friday. He said it cost several thousand dollars to replace the door.
Earlier that morning, Sierra Jewelry was a victim of what the SPD is calling a vandalism. Owner Sherry McBroome is offering a $1,000 reward for information and arrest of the suspects According to McBroome, a huge rock was thrown through the window of her business door. She said the first alarm went off at approximately 2 a.m.
