Our beloved dad, Chester Orval Draper, 68, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012 in Provo. He was born Sept. 1, 1943 in Salina, Utah to Orval Kay and Theo Huntsman Draper. He married Ilene Mason June 13, 1964 in Westwood, Calif. She preceded him in death Nov. 9, 1988.
Chet was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved the outdoors and taking road trips. He was a talented woodworker, handyman and carpenter. There was nothing he didn’t know how to fix!
Chet lived most of his life in Westwood, and when he retired in 2006 started a new chapter of his life on the beach in Barra de Navidad, Mexico. He then returned to his place of birth and lived in Richfield, Utah for the past two years.
He is survived by his children, Shauna (Steve) Bomar, of Gilbert, Ariz. and Cory Draper, of Richfield; grandchildren, Cara Bomar, Candice Bomar and Justin Draper; brothers, Jay Draper, of Ft. Meyers, Fla. and Michael (Becky) Draper, of Bend, Ore.; sister, Gloria Vernon, of Chandler, Ariz.; sister-in-law, Hazel Draper, of Lancaster, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gary and Leon; and in-laws, Ginny Draper and Gary Vernon.

Taltson Poor, 82, passed away July 17, 2012. Talt was born in Arkansas April 6, 1930 to Murl and Grace Poor. He was a Korean War Veteran. When discharged he came to Susanville, Calif. where he met his wife Linnie Wilder. They were married Nov. 7, 1953 and lived in Susanville until 1970 when they moved to Reno, Nev.
Talt worked at Sierra Army Depot in Herlong, Calif. starting in 1954 and retiring in 1985.
Talt always had a joke to tell, and people loved to listen to his stories. He never met a stranger. Talt will be remembered and missed very much.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Bonita Poor.
Talt is survived by his wife; daughters and son-in-laws, Sheryl and Larry Gallego, of Doyle, Calif. and Theresa and Rusty Piccinini, of Reno; and a son and daughter-in-law, John and Stephanie Poor, of Fernley, Nev. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one on the way, 12 step-great-grandchildren, his Yorkie Sara, several cousins and many friends.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. July 27, 2012 at Ross, Burke and Knobel Mortuary, 2155 Kietzke Lane in Reno. Talt will be laid to rest at Diamond Crest Cemetery in Johnstonville, Calif. Saturday, July 28, 2012.
Glen White passed away July 17, 2012. He was born Jan. 30, 1938 and lived in Susanville for 71 years. He started working at Millers Market when he was a young man. He later began working for Grayson Concrete, also for Sezzie Concrete when he took over the business. Glen then began working on his own for the next 50 years. He did a majority of the concrete jobs in Susanville. He was a very hard-working man.
He is survived by his sister, Linda (Bob) Norvel; brother, Jon White; two sons, Danny (Terri) White and Brian White; daughter, Cherie (Paul) Johnson. He has five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Red White and Curtis White and sister, Melbia White.
There will be a celebration of Life at the T&A Lounge at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28.
