Virginia (Ginger) Sabina Routhier died March 18, 2012. She was born on Oct. 4, 1922 to Ethel Anne Victoria Harris and Estavan (Stephen) Anton Rentz in Mt. Angel, Ore.

Ginger is preceded in death by her two husbands, Dwane and Gene; brothers, Bill, Tom, Steve, Chuck and John Rentz; sister Rose Miller; and step-son Wayne Burns.

She is survived by her two remaining brothers Ed and Marion Rentz; her children, Lynn Moore (Rick), Stephen (Butch) Myers, Christine Smith, Ron (Pam) Myers, Jeff Myers, and Vickie Newlin (Mike); step-children, Betty Harwick, Richard Routhier (Sarah), Carol Walker, and Marie White (Dennis). She also leaves behind 29 grandchildren, and more than 35 great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation and sharing will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday evening, March 23 with recitation of the Holy Rosary to take place at 7 p.m. at the Fehrman Mortuary Chapel in Chester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Ginger’s honor at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, 220 Clifford Drive at Lake Almanor at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012.
