BACON CHEESEBURGER … PIZZA
Yes you read that right. According to Judy and Lorin Galassi, owners of Papa Murphy’s in Susanville, they are now making a Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza. Lorin says it's the best he's tasted. They take a freshly made pizza crust, top it with a burger sauce, pile on mozzarella cheese, ground beef, crispy bacon, fresh onions and roma tomatoes, and it wouldn't be a cheeseburger without a layer of dill pickle chips. The finishing touch is a sprinkle of chedder cheese.
ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
The Diamond Mountain Casino is celebrating their 16th anniversary on Saturday, March 17th. In honor of the event they will be doubling the prize money on their Ruby 7 Emerald Winners Wheel. Plus, they’ll be giving away T-shirts to jackpot winners and handing out complimentary appetizers from 2 to 5 p.m. Since the event also falls on Saint Patrick’s Day, you can enjoy food and drink specials, and the traditional corned beef and cabbage while supplies last.
CHRONIC BACK PAIN GONE
If you have been told that back surgery is your only answer to chronic back problems such as sciatica, bulged discs and osteoarthritis, then you might want to mark your calendar to attend the free, one-hour spinal seminar at the Susanville Chiropractic Clinic. The program is being held at 6 p.m. on March 16. Seating is limited, so call their office to reserve your space.
