JUNIOR PHEASANT HUNT

Pheasants Forever is hosting a New Year’s Eve Junior Pheasant Hunt this Dec. 31. The fun begins at 9 a.m. until noon. There are only 20 spots available for this hunt. Lunch will be provided. All hunters must be under 16 years of age and possess a valid junior hunting license. For more information call Dave Ramirez at 251-6521.

 

BASKETBALL CAMP

Triple Threat Basketball is hosting a camp Dec. 27-29 for kids in third through eighth grades. The camp is based on skills and drills. If you would like to register your kids, call Mike Giacomelli at 257-9240.

 

HUNTING EDUCATION COURSE

Learn to hunt the right way by enrolling in a Hunter Education Course. Don Armentrout will be teaching this class from 8 a.m. to noon Dec. 27 through Dec. 30. This free course teaches people to know their gun, their responsibilities and proper ethics. The class will be held at the BLM-Eagle Lake Field Office at 2950 Riverside Drive. FREE CHRISTMAS DINNER

We live in an amazing giving community. If you ever doubt that, just keep reading. This Christmas Day Community Evangelical Free Church in Susanville is hosting a free Christmas dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. at Jensen Hall (at the Lassen County Fairgrounds). All are welcome to attend this holiday dinner.

‘TIS THE SEASON…

to spend some time with family and friends. If you haven't already checked out the Festival of Lights at the Lassen County Fairgrounds in Susanville, you might be missing out. This is the last weekend to view them — from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23 and Saturday, Dec. 24, and from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 25 (Christmas). You don't have to get out of your nice, warm vehicle either.

 

MAYBE A CARRIAGE RIDE?
