LITTLE MERMAID COMES TO LIFE
Watch as your favorite characters come to life and dance the beloved tale of The Little Mermaid. The performance is set to start at 7 p.m. for Friday, June 11 and Saturday, June 12 at the Veterans Memorial Hall on Main Street in Susanville. Tickets are available at J and J Performing Arts on Lassen Street in Susanville.

BOOK SIGNING
David Teeter, Manager of Margie’s Book Nook wants everyone to know that Terry Grosz is returning to Susanville to do a book signing for his latest book. Terry Grosz, author of an award winning series of books on his life as a game warden in the Western United States, has branched out with an historical novel covering the opening of the west and the adventures of two mountain men on the hardscrabble frontier.
Terry will be signing his new novel “Crossed Arrows” at Margie’s Book Nook in uptown Susanville from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, June 11. So David invites everyone to come say hello to Terry and hear all about his new book.
FAIR TIME IS COMING
Summer fun at the Lassen County Fair is set for July 21 through July 25. Whether you are interested in the livestock exhibits, horse show schedule or the crafts and hobbies, you will find all the information needed on its Web site to enter in this years fair. You can also enter your best jelly, quilt or photo.
Here are a few of the entry deadlines coming up, June 11 all FFA and 4-H livestock, all independents, all FFA and 4-H entries, including market animals, horse show (after June 16 post entries are accepted for double the entry fee) and all junior livestock. On June 18, senior open livestock and other exhibits (except agriculture and floriculture) deadline. On July 3, both agriculture and floriculture deadline. HIGH SEAS DESTINATION IN SUSANVILLE
St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Susanville is hosting a "High Seas Destination" Vacation Bible School in Susanville. The High Seas Expedition begins on Monday, June 21 and goes through June 25. The fun begins at 9 a.m., and ends at noon. All nursery age through sixth grade are welcome. If you need more information call the church office.
