BEWARE OF PHONE CALLS
It was brought to my attention this week from a Susanville business owner that a company called him on the pretense they were working with our local Chamber of Commerce to produce maps. I contacted Patti Hagata of the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce, she informed me that they were not working with any companies to produce a map. She also told me that if the Chamber is working on a project she always informs members prior to any project they may be doing. If you happen to be contacted by a so called company and aren't sure whether it's accurate information you are receiving, Hagata says to call the Chamber for information.
