Susanville Church of the Nazarene will be hosting a free community concert at 7 p.m. on Feb. 28 featuring former Beach Boy Philip Bardowell. This is Bardowell’s Fall to Rise CD release tour. Comedian Gary King will also perform as a special guest. This should be a fantastic musical event so bring your family and friends to the new church on Spring Ridge Road across from hospital and enjoy a night of laughs and good music. 2007 BUSINESS OF THE YEAR

The Herlong Sports Boosters are sponsoring a Sunday afternoon of thrills, spills, family fun and lots of laughs. This Thursday is the last day you can sign your child up for Susanville Little League. Sign-ups will be held in Janesville at the Janesville Pizza Factory from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., on Feb. 21.

The Westwood High School Lady Jacks softball team not only had an undefeated season, but is now celebrating winning the Northern Section Division VI championship.
