Candidates sought for vacancy on conservation district board

Thursday, April 2, 2015 — On March 18, Lassen County Clerk Julie Bustamante announced an unscheduled vacancy has occurred on the Honey Lake Valley Resource Conservation District Board of Directors due to the resignation of Ruth Dike.

According to the announcement from the county clerk, “the Lassen County Board of Supervisors will make this appointment in compliance with Government Code Section 54974, no sooner than April 2, 2015 or thereafter.

Applicants must be a registered voter in the state of California, reside within the district and either own real property in the district or alternatively have served, pursuant to the district’s rules, for two years or more as an associate director providing advisory or other assistance to the board of directors…
