Rent control ordinance extended

Aug. 5, 2008 — Since last February, residents of the Hidden Acres Mobile Home Park have been engaged in a tug of war over the rising price of the rent with new park owner RT Enterprises.
 

College announces new educational program

Aug. 5, 2008 — LCC recently established a partnership with Bellevue University, a college with campuses in Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota and Missouri. The program will allow a student who has earned an associate’s degree to take online classes at Bellevue and earn a bachelor’s degree in just one additional year of study.
