Lassen voters choose Clinton, McCain, support gaming amendments

Feb. 12, 2008 — Lassen County voters chose Hillary Clinton over Barack Obama by just a handful of votes. They also supported John McCain and amendments to state Indian gaming compacts in the Feb. 5 election.

Council to consider funding visitors bureau

Feb. 12, 2008 — Members of the City Committee for Economic Development showed up at the regular meeting of the Susanville City Council on Wednesday, Feb. 6, to try and convince the council to include funding for a visitors bureau in its 2007/2008 budget discussions.
