Nov. 23, 2009 — The Lassen High School Grizzlies varsity football team continued its domination of the Northern Section with a 42-0 blowout victory against the Anderson Cubs on Saturday, Nov. 21 in Susanville, Calif.

The Grizzlies previously faced Anderson in regular season play taking a narrow 14-6 victory and found the Cubs to be a worthy adversary. This game, however, placed Anderson in the long list of shut-out victories that Lassen has accumulated this year.

“Our kids are flat playing, said Coach Tom St. Jacques. “We have one more game to go to take the section title, and we know it is going to be tough.”

Lassen is scheduled to meet Sutter in the Northern Section finals at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at Arnold Field in Susanville, Calif.
