Manhunt on in Northern California for suspect believed to have killed wife, daughters
UPDATE: The Redding Record Searchlight is reporting authorities have found a truck in Humboldt County that Shayne Franklin Miller used to flee Shingletown after he allegedly shot his wife and two daughters Tuesday, May 7. The truck was found abandoned in the 30000 block of Mattole Road near Petrolia, where people also reported seeing Miller. As of 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, authorities were still searching the area.

Shane Franklin Miller, 45, is wanted in the death of his wife and two daughters. The alleged triple homicide ocurred in Shingletown in the evening of Tuesday, May 7. Miller is conisidered armed and dangerous. If anyone knows of his whereabouts or comes into contact with him, they should call 911.
Wednesday, May 8 — Authorities are searching for a man believed to have shot and killed his wife and two daughters in Shingletown last night.
Shane Franklin Miller, 45, is considered to be at-large in the Northern California region and armed and dangerous, possibly having a cache of weapons.
It is believed he is driving a gold 2010 Dodge Mega Cab pick-up truck with a similar color camper shell. The license plate number is 8Z75988.
