FREE TRI-TIP SANDWICHES
    Starting Wednesday Wheels West in Susanville has some special events happening. They will be serving up free Susanville Supermarket tri-tip sandwiches through Sunday. On Thursday and Friday, the Lassen County Federal Credit Union will be at Wheels West to assist with immediate financing, and if you're not a member, they will help you become one. There will be lots of giveaways Saturday, May 30, too. Owner Jason Rieger invites everyone in for a sandwich, and be sure and check out their selection of used cars and trucks waiting for their new owners.

Longtime Westwood residents and artists Marty and Diane Growdon recently opened Old Town Mercantile in Westwood. Their store is a co-op consignment store for local artists and crafters within Lassen and Plumas counties. You'll find many old items repurposed, arts and crafts, antiques and collectibles and much more. In their spare time they love building and refinishing furniture, working with pottery, jewelry and renovating old trailers. Stop by their store at 319 Birch St.
