Term limits could be on November ballot

Tuesday, April 15, 2014 — Voters may be deciding if term limits are the best option for the Lassen County Board of Supervisors.

In May, the supervisors ill consider a resolution to place an initiative on the November ballot, which will limit supervisors to three four-year terms. Supervisor Larry Wosick requested the matter be placed on the agenda consideration in March and the matter was brought back to the board’s Tuesday, April 8 meeting.

Wosick started the discussion by explaining it wasn’t meant as disrespect to long-time supervisors Bob Pyle and Jim Chapman.
