The members of the Westwood Junior High School girls basketball team were merciless in a game against their mothers Thursday, Feb. 8.

Lassen College's baseball team improved to 4-4 by winning two of three games at last weekend's Diablo Valley Tournament in Pleasant Hill.

After winning just five regular season games, Lassen High School's boys' basketball team received the No. 5 seed in the Northern Section Division II playoffs.

After securing a 7-3 Westside League record, Lassen High School's girls' basketball team was awarded a home game to open the Northern Section Division III playoffs.
