Pacific Crest Trail cleanup volunteers needed
Aug. 19, 2013 — The Pacific Crest Trail Association will be working on the Pacific Crest Trail north of La Porte Road in the Plumas National Forest from Thursday, Aug. 22 through Saturday, Aug. 24.
Volunteers are welcome to join the crew in their efforts to clear downed logs, trim overgrown brush and repair damage to the tread surface of the trail. Food will be provided by the association the evening of Wednesday, Aug. 21, before the project starts, and throughout the workdays.
