Interstate 5 roadwork to close on/off-ramps tonight
July 28, 2013 — The California Department of Transportation District 2 will be conducting fog-sealing operations along Interstate 5 from 7 p.m. tonight, Thursday, July 18 until 6 a.m. tomorrow Friday, July 19.
The following northbound on/off ramps will be closed in Redding and Anderson:
•North St. in Anderson (on ramp)
•Riverside Dr. in Redding (on and off ramps)
The operation will begin at Balls Ferry Road. Balls Ferry Road northbound off ramp will be open.
Detours: (Northbound traffic)
•North St. to northbound Highway 273 to south Bonnyview to Interstate 5
•Riverside Drive/Ox Yoke to northbound Highway 273 to south Bonnyview to Interstate 5
Caltrans would like to remind the traveling public to move over if safe or slow down when they see Caltrans vehicles flashing warning lights along the side of the highways, and to Slow for the Cone Zone.
