Juvenile arrested for possession of stolen property
May 9, 2013 — A 13-year old juvenile has been arrested and booked into the Lassen County Juvenile Detention Facility for allegedly possessing a stolen cell phone.
According to a press release from the Susanville Police Department, officers responded to a report of a burglary at a residence on the 1200 block of Hood Street about 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 8.
The victim told police an unknown person or persons had entered the residence and stolen the cell phone. Investigators used a cell phone locater application and tracked the phone to a residence on the 400 block of Wall Street.
The case has been referred to the Juvenile Division of the Lassen County Probation Department.
