Notice of Public Hearing
The City of Susanville Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing to consider approval, conditional approval, or disapproval of a Use Permit to allow an indoor play facility for children in the Uptown Business Zoning District (UBD). The project is located at 803 Main Street, APN 103-314-10. The hearing will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 6:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers in City Hall located at 66 North Lassen Street, Susanville, California.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The applicant is requesting a Use Permit to allow an indoor play facility for children in an existing commercial building space in the Uptown Business Zoning District (UBD). The applicant is not proposing any interior or exterior changes to the building. The hours of operation are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday and 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends. The public is invited to attend and provide written or verbal comments. Written comments to be included in the staff report must
be received by the Tuesday prior to the meeting.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW STATUS: The city proposed to find that the project is categorically exempt from the CEQA review under section 15301 (Class 1) - Existing Facilities.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Lassen will conduct a public hearing by the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 707 Nevada Street, Susanville, in order to discuss proposed revisions to the County of Lassen’s Housing Rehabilitation Program Guidelines and to solicit citizen input.
The County has received Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for Business Lending activities to provide local businesses with attractive business loans and other services. The Business Assistance, Microenterprise Financial Assistance, and Microenterprise Technical Assistance Program Guidelines provide regulations for the management of said funds.

At a minimum, responsibilities include attendance at two monthly meetings and reviewing development projects. The Planning Commission=s meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 p.m. All Commissioners must be residents of the City of Susanville.
