Honey Lake Valley Assembly of God Church in Janesville is hosting the Living Proof live simulcast by Beth Moore Sept. 15. The doors open at 8:30 a.m. and the program starts at 9:30 a.m. The church is hosting a luncheon with the program. See their ad for ticket information.
REMODEL NOW COMPLETE
Donna Weeks, owner of Headquarters Salon, had a busy few weeks. They remodeled the salon in a two-week period. Call and make an appointment with BJ, Lauren or Lily and check out the newly updated salon.
APPRECIATING THEIR CUSTOMERS
This Friday, Sept. 7, join Lassen Municipal Utility District staff, management and board members as they honor their customers for their fifth annual Customer Appreciation Celebration. They will be firing up the grill from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., serving complimentary hot dogs with all the trimmings, cold drinks, chips and cookies.
Be sure and enter their drawing for a variety of energy-saving gadgets and a grand prize of an LCD television and blu-ray player. This is a great time for people to ask questions, voice their concerns and find out how the utility is operating.
NEW BUILDING DEDICATION
For years, Community Church has been diligently working on getting their new building completed. Well, a few weeks ago they were able to hold their first worship service in their brand new building. Pastor Rick Conrad informs us they held a special Dedication and Worship service on Sept. 1. Their new building is located at 1400 Numa Road.

MOPS PROGRAM KICKS OFF
The Susanville Church of the Nazarene will be kicking off their monthly MOPS program meeting Sept. 10. The Mothers of Preschoolers program starts at 9:30 a.m. and quality childcare will be provided.
