BLUES & BREWS IN SUSANVILLE
The annual Blues & Brews festival will be held at Every Bloomin' Thing in Susanville, Saturday, Aug. 11. The concert, barbeque and microbrew tasting will feature live music by Inn Cahootes and Red Moon Band. Tickets are now on sale at Every Bloomin' Thing. This event is brought to you by the Lassen County Farm Bureau and many local sponsors.
ART IN THE GARDEN HOME TOUR
On Saturday, Aug. 18 is the annual Monticola Club’s Art in the Garden Home Tour. This year there will be five homes featured; some gardens are at homes that are more than 100 years old. Local artists will be displaying their work at each home along with refreshments and treasures. Tickets are now on sale at Every Bloomin' Thing, Leslie's Jewelry, Zaengle's Flooring & Home, Beauty Corral and Artisan Café.

STUFF THE BUS FOR KIDS
Lassen County Search and Rescue and Lassen Rural Bus (LRB) have teamed up to Stuff the Bus for kids in Lassen County. Now through Aug. 13 they are asking for help collecting backpacks and school supplies for needy children, and non-perishable food items for Crossroads Ministries.
When you donate a backpack, two school supplies or food items, you can ride the LRB for free through Aug. 13.
Donations may be dropped off at various locations throughout Lassen County.
