Belva was born in Homedale, Idaho on July 10, 1923 to Merritt William Cunningham and Virda Mae Porter. She had 10 brothers and sisters. Belva only went through the eighth grade in school.
In 1941 she moved to California and met and married her husband, Auqustino (Sam) Fusari. They settled in Scotts Valley and had five children, Marlene, Kathleen, Augie, Virda and Louis. In 1995 she had heart surgery and moved to Janesville where she lived with Marlene and son-in-law, Bill Nolen, on Sears Road.
Belva loved her flower garden and taking care of the cats. In 2008 Belva moved into Country Villa Riverview and she fell in love with the CNAs and nurses there and they loved her and took great care of her until she left to be with Jesus.
Belva leaves behind her brother, Ted Cunningham, of Meridian, Idaho; daughters, Marlene Nolen and Kathleen Zurck, of Janesville; and son, Louis Fusari, of Scotts Valley; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
