GIRLS NIGHT OUT IN WESTWOOD

TRI-TIP DINNER AND LIVE MUSIC

The Sierra Sportsmen is hosting its first dinner and fundraiser Saturday, Aug. 4 at The Diamond Mountain Casino and Hotel. In addition to dinner and music, there will be door prizes and raffles. The Sierra Sportsmen is a local organization of members who enjoy a variety of shooting and archery sporting events. All proceeds from this event will stay in and around the Susanville area and directly benefit their local range facility. KIDS' FASHION SHOW AT LASSEN COUNTY FAIR

The Kids' Fashion Show will be held at the Lassen County Fair from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 19. Moms and babies will be modeling a variety of baby carriers, and kids will be modeling hair accessories, apparel and tutus. There is also a Cutest Kid Contest. Entry forms can be found at Party and Main at 2208 Main St. Drop off entry forms and pictures by 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 18 for a chance to win a new car seat and other great prizes. FUNDRAISER FOR RELAY FOR LIFE

Susanville Supermarkets Tatas Relay For Life team is at it again. This time they are doing Tips for Relay at the T&A Lounge, from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 26. Rachelle Surian informs us all tips that day will go directly to their Relay For Life team.

 

ART SUPPORTING EDUCATION

Personal jeweler, Edith Schwirian, tells us she will be featuring her unique jewelry creations at Good Vibrations in Chester from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 21 for the annual Art Around the Lake Tour.

“Ticket sales for this event go to support the arts in the local schools,” said Schwirian.
