This year the Lassen County Fair gets off to a start Tuesday, July 17 with an all-new event. Souza's Bucking Bulls presents the Smackdown Bull Riding Tour at 7 p.m. This event will be held in the North Arena at the fairgrounds. Tickets are now on sale at the fair office. Be sure and ask about the family pass. Anyone can sign up to be in the competition, too.
GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION
Vintage things not only have greater value, but character because they have a story to tell. Beverly Smith and Mary Ellen Huffman invite you to the grand opening celebration at the new Gift Boutique & Antiques store in Susanville from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 30.
“We have several themed shopping areas from western to kitchen, garden items and much more” said Smith. “We’ll be giving away lots of great prizes, and all you have to do to enter is bring in the entry coupon in our ad in this week’s paper.”

Racing action starts at 7 p.m. and after the races you can sit back and watch the fireworks show to celebrate Independence Day! BABY CARRIER WORKSHOP TODAY IN SUSANVILLE
Blessed Babies and Bellies Boutique is hosting a baby carrier safety workshop from 11 a.m. to noon today, Tuesday, June 26 at Party and Main.
