Janette Madelyne Olmstead
Janette Madelyne Olmstead, of Susanville, Calif., and formerly of Hagerman, Idaho, went to be with the Lord Monday, June 18, 2012.
She loved playing Bingo, Sugarpine pinecones, gardening, family, homemaking and visiting. She was known for crocheting doilies for friends until the age of 96.
She was recently blessed when her granddaughter, Jennifer Hynek, of Emmett, Idaho; great-grandchildren, Trevor Campbell and FaithAnn Hynek; and grandson, Chris Gutierrez, of Italy, joined her to celebrate her 98th birthday in Susanville.
She is survived by her son, Merrit Olmstead and wife Cindy Gutierrez-Olmstead, five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held in Twin Falls, Idaho, June 25, 2012 where she was laid to rest next to her husband, Russell Olmstead and son, Russell Raymond Olmstead.
