Lady Grizzlies fall to the Hornets

Jan. 4, 2012 — The Lassen High varsity girl’s basketball team returned from winter break only to be stung by the Enterprise Hornets, 52-35, Tuesday, Jan. 3, in the Cave.

Emily Terwilliger led the Lady Grizzlies in scoring with 13 points. Natalie Yonan had nine points on the night.

The freshman girls were able to be the only Lassen team to defeat the Hornets in a 57-41 win.

Miranda Langenhorst led the team in scoring with 15 points. Danielle Ratkey had nine points. Julie Dixon had seven points.

The junior varsity team gave a good fight but it wasn’t enough, and the JV team fell 46-42.

Danica Guillen led the JV girls in scoring with 15 points. Sara Carson had 11 points.
