TWO-DAY PRODUCE SALE

BLUES AND BREWS
The Lassen County Farm Bureau presents its annual Blues and Brews scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 9 at Every Bloomin’ Thing. The event will feature a barbecue, micro-brew tasting and music by Luther Red and the Jason King Band. Dinner will be served from 5 to 8 p.m. bring your own lawn chair. Tickets are available at Every Bloomin’ Thing in Susanville and Chester. Proceeds benefit local scholarships.
The annual Doyle Days is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Aug. 8 and 9. Come join the fun including the famous Lizard Races.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
The Church of Christ is hosting a free Vacation Bible School, “Moses and Me,” from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6 through Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 205 N. Fairfield Avenue.
Activities include storytelling, puppet show, arts and crafts, sacks, singing and more.
HIGH POWER SOCCER CAMP
Last week we mentioned the High Power Soccer Camp and Vacation Bible School that begins next Monday, Aug. 4. Standish Bible Church, along with Janesville Christian Fellowship, Log Cabin Baptist Church and Honey Lake Valley Assembly host the event.
