Main Street accident injures toddler

According to the Susanville Police Department, the driver of this Toyota Camry was hit by a truck while attempting to cross Main St. from S. Lassen Street.

Thursday, March 19, 2015 — A toddler was transported to the hospital and a vehicle sustained major damage after it was side swiped on Main Street, Wednesday, March 11.

According to a press release from the Susanville Police Department, officers responded to the incident at approximately 2 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a gold 2005 Toyota Camry with major damage at the corner of Main and N. Lassen streets where it had collided with a lamppost.

Through the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver, Monica Patton, 24, was attempting to cross Main Street to N. Lassen Street when her vehicle was broadsided by a Chevrolet pick up driven by Heather Alexander, 42, of Orland, California.
