Fuel reduction leads to fewer large fires

District moves closer to charter school site offer

July 22, 2008 — Local real estate agent and Diamond Mountain Charter High School parent Diane Dwyer encouraged the Lassen Union High School District Board of Trustees to make an offer to purchase a new building for Diamond Mountain Charter High School as soon as possible.

Williams wins Miss Lassen County crown

July 22, 2008 — Growing up, Jennifer Williams has looked up to the girls chosen as Miss Lassen County. Now the role will be reversed as Williams became Miss Lassen County 2008 during the annual pageant held on Tuesday, July 15 at the Lassen County Fairgrounds.
