Board approves replacing bleachers at Arnold Field

April 15, 2008 — Due to unsafe conditions and a possible liability, the Lassen Union High School District Board of Trustees approved entering into an agreement with RNJ Installations to replace the bleachers at Arnold Field making a $40,000 down payment for the project which will cost approximately $76,000.
  

Spencer to pay LMUD's attorney fees

April 15, 2008 — The Court of Appeal of the State of California Third Appellate District has remanded the case of Eileen Spencer v. Lassen Municipal Utility District to the Lassen County Superior Court. The appeals court’s decision was filed on Wednesday, April 9.
  

LMUD nixes incentive program on 3-2 vote

April 15, 2008 — Jay Dow’s proposal to offer a financial incentive to Lassen Municipal Utility District customers who need electrical line extensions will not move forward. The LMUD Board of Directors killed the proposal when it voted 3-2 at a special meeting held on Thursday, April 10 not to hold a public hearing on the new program proposed by its vice president.
